Do you provide a safety briefing before we depart?

Absolutely. Before every rental, our experienced staff provides a comprehensive safety walkthrough. We cover the boat’s operation, local channel markers and navigation, shallow water areas to avoid, and how to use all safety equipment. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident and safe before you head out on the water.

Is snorkeling gear available with the boat rental?

While our boats are perfect for reaching the best snorkeling spots, we do not include snorkeling gear with our standard rentals. We recommend bringing your own masks, snorkels, and fins to ensure a perfect fit. We can, however, provide a dive flag upon request, which is required by law when snorkeling in Florida waters.

Your Cruising Area

Our rentals are permitted for use in the waters surrounding the Middle Keys, generally within a 5-mile radius of Conch Key. This provides access to numerous sandbars, patch reefs, and scenic channels. For your safety and the protection of our marine ecosystem, we require that you stay within marked channels, adhere to all ‘No Wake’ and ‘Manatee Zone’ speed limits, and avoid protected marine sanctuary areas. Our staff will review a detailed chart with you before your departure.

Recommended Items to Bring

To make your day on the water as enjoyable as possible, we suggest packing a few essentials. Consider bringing: sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses for sun protection; towels; a cooler with plenty of water, drinks, and snacks; a waterproof bag for phones and keys; and your own snorkeling gear if you plan to explore the reefs. All legally required safety equipment is provided by us.
